In searching for an exchanger for the Latin America area, I came across with Xapo. But not sure if they act as an exchanger too

That is what I´m trying to ask. What makes an exchanger for many are just e-wallets ?

I did some reading on the Xapo site and they offer a debit card that can be used anywhere visa or master card is accepted, plus you can use it at an ATM machine. I was really intrigued with there security system. But not knowing much about bitcoin, I would like to look at other options too.

Hi coky, Digital currency exchangers (DCEs) or bitcoin exchanges are businesses that allow customers to trade digital currencies for other assets, such as conventional fiat money, or different digital currencies. You may want to look at the following link, may be of interest to you. Just remove the space between // and en https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies
